In his down time, he is known to be a voracious reader, an avid movie-goer, and an occasional vlogger. He writes in his spare time, except when he is consumed by his ideas of what to write and how to write it, which is often.

Keren recently took a personality test that told her one of her strengths was "input" meaning she is constantly collecting information and thinking about this information. In short, she is a daydream believer--the kind that believes in fairytales and happily ever after and sees the world through rose colored glasses. Still, a part of her enjoys being realistic and logical and doesn't understand why things are not fully thought through. It's the reason why she enjoys entertaining fluff but equally enjoys anything that makes her think. Because she loves thinking, she loves writing and editing. Being the News Editor of The Anglerfish has given her an opportunity to do what she loves: gather information and think about it. To Keren, editing isn't just deleting commas and making sure writers use proper grammar. It's about making sure the writer is communicating clearly and that the audience will not have to guess the message. Lots of things make up Keren's life, but her foundation is simple: God and Family. These are what ground her and guide her daily decisions. Some of these decisions include deciding when it's appropriate to fangirl over Scooby Doo, The Hunger Games, My Little Pony, Jane Austen, Divergent, and anything Disney. (Of course, there are more.) To her, being a fan isn't just having an emotional freakout whenever something happens in the fandom (though that part is quite important). It's connecting to a story and it's characters and transfering the values and lessons it teaches to life. Keren became a Nerdfighter when she found that she could not stop watching Vlogbrothers videos. She was happy to find two adults who were intelligent, kind, and creative and not above having fun and being unapologetically enthusiastic about the things they love. She hopes to be the same way. Eefje Savelkoul is a Dutch graphic designer who works in newspaper lay-out, loves nerdfightery things and does creative stuff. What type of ‘stuff’ changes continously. There’s a reason she calls her personal blog (eefjes.wordpress.com) her playground. Photography (analog and digital), drawing and painting (also analog and digital) and making videos are some of the things she does. Kat is a semi professional historian with a professional degree in graphic design. Kat has delusions of being a writer and a graphic (comics) artist. Kat is also flirting with the idea of her own Youtube show. Kat is thinking possibly a show about or relating to history, and possibly about health. It is more likely the show will be about history because Kat enjoys it so much! Kat also enjoys good friends, food, sometimes drink, and once in a while, if the mood is right, fun times with family.
